Persian pronunciation lives between the letters. A missing ezafeh or the wrong reading of a word can break the flow of an otherwise familiar sentence.
bejón can use your connected AI provider to help resolve context and add pronunciation marks for supported Persian voices. Local checks protect the original text. You can also review a temporary, manually marked preview.

Your installed macOS voices stay available, after included and configured online engines. The choice stays with you.
Online services keep their own fees, limits and terms. A ChatGPT subscription does not automatically include OpenAI API credit. bejón does not bypass provider restrictions.

With an offline voice and pronunciation assistance switched off, reading stays on your device. Online speech or AI assistance sends the relevant text to your chosen provider. You choose the route.

Is bejón really free?
The public reader is intended to be free to download for personal reading and research, with no bejón subscription. Optional online services may charge for usage. Third-party software, models and voices keep their own licenses.
Does it fix every Persian pronunciation?
No voice is perfect. bejón targets common problems such as missing ezafeh and context-dependent readings, using supported AI assistance or explicit pronunciation marks. Availability depends on the engine and mode. Your original document is preserved.
Can I use it without an AI account?
Yes. Offline engines and installed system voices do not need an online AI account for ordinary reading. AI-assisted pronunciation and online speech are optional.
Where does my text go?
Offline reading runs locally. If you enable AI pronunciation assistance or choose an online voice, relevant text goes to that provider under its terms. This site keeps simple aggregate visit and download-start totals without analytics cookies or advertising trackers.
Can I download it now?
Not yet. The installed development build is not a public distribution package. We’re preparing portable packaging, third-party notices and the website and Mac App Store release paths before enabling downloads.
